Part I Architectural Assistant

Diana is a Part I Architectural Assistant with a BArch (Hons) Architecture degree from Loughborough University. She joined MPA in 2023 for her placement year and returned in 2025 after graduating.

Passionate about the growing importance of well-being and sustainability in creating inclusive, human-centred spaces, her dissertation explored how sustainable design, particularly Passivhaus, influences occupants’ cognitive function and psychological well-being. She also explored architectural phenomenology in her graduate project “The In-Between: The Art of Shared Belonging” - a civic building that focused on how atmospheres, sensory design, and human experience can bring different communities together through co-creation and cultural exchange.
