Nethmini joined MPA in 2025 after completing her master’s in architecture at the University of the West of England, Bristol, where she graduated with Distinction and received the RIBA Wessex Commendation Prize for her thesis exploring spatial justice within marginalised coastal communities in Sri Lanka.

Her passion for community-driven design continues to inform her work, particularly in developing better healthcare environments. Prior to joining MPA, she gained experience working on large-scale educational and hospitality projects in Sri Lanka.
